Valérie NEWLAND
Valérie Newland is a French artist, born from the interbreeding of an Indonesian mother and an Irish father in New Caledonia.
At the School of Fine Arts of the city of Paris, she studied painting with Gonzalo Belmonte and finished the program with the congratulations of the jury, made up of Pat Andrea and Jean-Michel Alberola.
Through the vital link, Valérie Newland cross the space and the time, the thread becomes a full medium. At Jardin Rouge, the artist submerged her-self in the spotless colors and made the singular experience of the hanks of Moroccan wool.
Just for a moment, turn to the semantics of the thread. Valérie Newland will be making attempts at extending her formal syntax, following the expressive line, that witch is filled with the power of emotional transmission.
