Kamal Saki, a young graduate of the National Institute of Fine Arts in Tetouan, looks at our contemporary world. In his pictorial practice, he questions our relationship to time.
Like an alchemist, the artist plays with matter to the point of erasure. We discover in his work human crowds, animals, ordinary objects suspended in the void and silence. A philosophical and social reading is essential… we must contemplate his works at length to feel the erosion of our human condition.
Kamal Saki was born in 1992 in Chichaoua, Morocco.
